Terms & Conditions

All work carried out by Loads4Less is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Any changes to these conditions must be previously agreed by us in writing.

1:-All quotes will be confirmed before the date of your move. Please note additional charges may occur if incorrect information is given i.e. The property description/ size, access of the property, if there are any special requirements (extremely heavy items), items needing dismantling and reassembling.

2:- You or a representative must be present at both locations on the day of your move to ensure that nothing is left behind or removed in error (An insurance requirement).

3:- Loads4Less pride ourselves on our prompt time keeping and service, however sometimes due to unavoidable circumstances delays can occur, in such cases we will  keep you fully informed of any possible delay or time changes to  your allocated schedule.

4:- If there are parking restrictions on the day of the move, please inform on booking to avoid any further charges.

5:-On quoted jobs (not hourly) a 30 minute waiting time is included in the price, additional waiting time will be charged at £20.00 per 30 minutes as part of.

6:- The full invoiced amount is to be paid to the driver on completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing by Loads4Less.

7:- On completion of the work the driver or member of the team will ask you to complete a quick and simple client report form.  That same form has the facility for you to report any damaged goods, issues or complaints about the service you have received from Loads4Less. We would also welcome any suggestion you may wish to add that would help us to improve our service.

8:- Please note on booking a deposit will be taken over the telephone to secure you’re moving date, this will be deducted from the total invoice. Cancellations of less than 24 hours will be charged at 50% of your quote.

Any additional issues or complaints should be submitted to our office in writing within 7 days of the work being completed and Loads4Less guarantee to respond within a period of not more than 10 working days from receipt of same.

Insurance

Loads4Less is fully insured, however some items a few of which are listed below will not be covered within your quote. You may wish to take out your own insurance. If a job is booked for one man (with the help and assistance from the customer) then insurance will be void.

We will not cover the following items under our insurance:

A: Items of furniture which have been made from flat pack kits.

B: Items previously dismantled upon arrival.

C: Any boxed items not packed by the Loads4less packing team. Although every care will be taken to ensure that all boxes are treated and loaded as fragile merchandise. Inc. Pictures, mirrors, glass ware, antiques or any fragile items that need special wrapping/packaging.

D: Jewelry and personal documents. Please make sure these items are taken separately.

E: Walls/ doors/ floors within the property. The utmost care is taken whilst moving items in and out of your property, however if you have any issues please make it known to a Loads4less member and on the client report form.

SHOULD ANY OF THE ABOVE APPLY TO YOUR REMOVAL/ DELIVERY PLEASE INFORM THE OFFICE BY EMAIL OR TELEPHONE IMMEDIATELY.

FAILURE TO DO SO COULD MEAN EXTRA CHARGES OR ABORTING THE REMOVAL/ PICKUP.
